Abstract

This article investigated in detail the effects of carbon black, carbon nanotubes, graphene, copper chromium black and their additives on the thermal stability and infrared emissivity of radiation heat-dissipating coatings. Based on the application scenarios, the design principles of radiation heat dissipation coating formulations were discussed. The results show that copperchromium black pigment is better than the carbon nanotube and graphene pigment as used in radiative heat-dissipating coatings under high temeprature environment more than 450 °. The three pigments have similar application performance as used under middle and low temperature environment between 150 ° and 300 °. These research results are useful for coatings formula design and selection for different temperature environment [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
