Abstract
- The article focuses on how blockbuster projects on reward-based crowdfunding platforms affect the timing of new project launches. Topics include the impact of blockbuster projects on creators' strategic decision-making; the relationship between blockbuster presence and project launch delays; and the overall effect of competition from blockbuster projects on project timelines. The study finds that creators often delay their launches to avoid direct competition with successful projects.
