Abstract

The article introduces the updated Osteoarthritis of the Knee Clinical Care Standard, reflecting new evidence and contemporary guidelines aimed at improving care and reducing low-value treatments such as unnecessary imaging and surgeries. Topics discussed include the revised approach to imaging and opioid use, the emphasis on self-management through physical activity and weight management, and the incorporation of cultural safety and equity in care delivery.
