Abstract

This paper mainly reviewed the study progress of CO<subscript>2</subscript> separation membranes based on zeolite materials, including the CO<subscript>2</subscript>/CH<subscript>4</subscript> separation performance of zeolite inorganic membranes with different topological structures and zeolite-filled mixed matrix membranes. The current research bottlenecks and corresponding improvement methods of the two membranes were discussed. According to the above points, the following two points were proposed as future research focus to promote the industrialization of zeolite- based CO<subscript>2</subscript> separation membranes: preparation and defects-healing of ultra-thin inorganic membranes, structural regulation and structure-activity relationship research of mixed matrix membranes.
