Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of exercise interventions for individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). It compares the outcomes of endurance exercise, such as walking or biking, with occupation-based exercises, such as boxing or dancing. The results suggest that occupation-based exercises, which hold more meaning for patients, may lead to better treatment outcomes and increased participation. The article emphasizes the importance of providing meaningful options for rehabilitation to PD patients and incorporating neuro-occupation principles into treatment. However, further research is needed to fully understand the impact of different exercise types on PD symptoms. [Extracted from the article]
