Abstract
- A preprint abstract from biorxiv.org discusses the integration of interleukin 2 (IL2) function during earlier antigen-dependent T cell synapses. The study demonstrates a synergistic effect between the T cell receptor (TCR) and IL2 receptor signaling in CD8+ T cells. The researchers found that TCR and IL2 signaling overlapped in space and time, enhancing each other when simultaneously triggered. This research may have implications for the development of immunotherapeutics that promote antigen-specific CD8+ T cell expansion. However, it is important to note that this preprint has not yet undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article]
