Abstract
- A recent report from the University of Tennessee provides new insights into neuroblastomas, a type of cancer. The research focuses on the role of a transcription factor called TCF4 in promoting the oncogenic activity of the MYC protein, which drives high-risk neuroblastoma. The study suggests that TCF4 recruits multiple factors that regulate MYC function, potentially offering new therapeutic targets for the treatment of high-risk neuroblastoma. This research highlights the importance of class I basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors in cancer and development. [Extracted from the article]
