Abstract

A report from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital in China has identified a novel immune-related long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) as a potential prognostic biomarker for HER2-positive breast cancer. The study used data from The Cancer Genome Atlas and The Immunology Database and Analysis Portal to identify differentially expressed lncRNAs and immune-related genes. The researchers found that the expression of lncRNA CTC-537E7.2 was significantly correlated with patient survival and clinical parameters, suggesting its potential as a prognostic marker. Further research is needed to investigate the underlying molecular mechanisms driving the development of this subtype of breast cancer. [Extracted from the article]
