Abstract
- This article discusses a study that aims to understand the complex and multifaceted pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The study analyzes 13 different mouse models of IBD and compares their transcriptomic profiles to established patient datasets. The researchers identify common and unique features of IBD at the molecular level and identify pathways and cellular processes that are comparable between mouse models and patients. This study provides valuable insights for selecting appropriate experimental models to study specific aspects of IBD pathogenesis. Please note that this article is a preprint and has not yet undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article]
