Abstract
- Producers are invited to attend a Stockmanship event with Curt Pate in September, hosted by Purdue University Extension, the Indiana Forage Council, the Indiana Sheep Association, and the Indiana Beef Cattle Association. Pate, a nationally renowned stockman, will discuss the economic benefits of handling livestock correctly and the impact of correct practices on the sustainability of the cattle and small ruminant industries. The event will include hands-on demonstrations of proper livestock-handling techniques, allowing producers to observe and understand animal reactions. The deadline to register is September 21, and payment is required for attendance. [Extracted from the article]
