Abstract

Megan Koster, a clinical associate professor of respiratory care at Boise State University, has received the 2024 Louis Sinopoli Faculty Educational Research Scholarship for her outstanding research in respiratory care education. Dr. Koster, who has been a faculty member at Boise State University for over a decade, is currently the chair of the department of respiratory care and the director of the master's degree program in respiratory care. Her research focuses on the benefits of earning a graduate-level degree for respiratory practitioners, including financial and advancement opportunities, as well as the barriers that prevent practitioners from pursuing higher education.
