Abstract

This research paper delves into the demographic characteristics and consumer preferences among individuals purchasing baked goods from home bakeries. Through a comprehensive survey analysis, it uncovers that the primary customer base comprises predominantly female individuals aged between 26 to 35 years, with a majority possessing SSLC education. These consumers exhibit a notable inclination towards preservative-free baked goods, attractive packaging, and efficient customer service. To effectively target this demographic, home bakers are advised to focus their marketing efforts on social media platforms, particularly Facebook, employing visually engaging advertisements and staying attuned to evolving market trends. Moreover, prioritizing the provision of high-quality baked goods, accompanied by functional packaging and prompt customer response, is essential for sustaining consumer satisfaction and loyalty. While the survey reflects a prevalent trust in home bakers' transparency regarding ingredients, there remains an opportunity to further understand and cater to specific customer needs. Overall, home bakers emphasizing customer-centric practices, product excellence, and trend awareness stand poised to enhance their success and foster enduring customer relationships.
