Abstract

This article discusses Indigenous-led stargazing experiences in Alberta, Canada. Métis Crossing, a cultural gathering center and vacation lodge, offers interpretive programs that explore Indigenous Peoples' relationship to the night sky. Painted Warriors, a ranch near Sundre, offers snowshoeing tours that include stargazing and storytelling. In Jasper National Park, which is designated as a Dark Sky Preserve, the annual Jasper Dark Sky Festival celebrates the night sky with various activities.
