Abstract
- The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) has condemned Bollywood actress and BJP Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut for her remarks suggesting that the farmers' protests in India could have led to a situation similar to Bangladesh if the leadership was not strong enough. The AIKS president, Dr. Ashok Dhawale, called Ranaut's remarks highly condemnable and accused her of trying to please her "external and internal bosses who want to devour agriculture." The AIKS statement also claimed that the farmers' struggle against the farm laws had resulted in 736 martyrs. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed disagreement with Ranaut's remarks and stated that she is not authorized to make statements on the party's policy issues. The BJP emphasized its commitment to social harmony and the principles of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.' [Extracted from the article]
