Abstract
- This article discusses the application of metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) and targeted metagenomic next-generation sequencing in diagnosing pulmonary infections in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised patients. The study found that bacteria were the most common pathogens in single infections, followed by fungi and viruses. Additionally, the article provides a summary of the most common bacterial, fungal, and viral pathogens detected through mNGS. This information can be valuable for researchers and healthcare professionals studying and treating pulmonary infections. [Extracted from the article]
