Abstract
- The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized four kilograms of gold and ten kilograms of silver granules in separate incidents along the Indo-Bangladesh Border (IBB). The gold was seized from a smuggler in West Bengal's Nadia district, while the silver was recovered from two women in North 24-Parganas. The gold, valued at nearly Rs 4.32 crore, was found in eight gold bricks, 22 gold biscuits, and a small piece of gold. The silver, valued at nearly Rs 8.37 lakh, was intended to be smuggled into Bangladesh. The seized items have been handed over to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the Customs Department for further legal action. [Extracted from the article]
