Abstract
- This article presents two case studies of painful legs and moving toes syndrome (PLMT), a rare syndrome characterized by pain in the lower limbs and involuntary movements of the toes. The article discusses the symptoms, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment of two patients with PLMT. Additionally, the article discusses a case study of a patient with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD), highlighting the underdiagnosis of PLMD and potential treatments. The aim of the article is to raise awareness of PLMD as a distinct neurological condition and its association with atypical leg pain. [Extracted from the article]
