Abstract
- The Commerce Department's National Institute of Standards and Technology is accepting applications for the FY24 Manufacturing USA Institute—AI for Resilient Manufacturing. The institute aims to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the resilience of U.S. manufacturers. The deadline for concept papers is September 30, 2024, and invited proposals must be submitted by January 23, 2025. The program offers a total of $14 million per year, with a maximum project period of five years. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, for-profit organizations (including small businesses), nonprofit organizations, and state, local, territorial, and Native American tribal governments.
