Abstract
- Jess Pope, a cowboy from Waverly, Kansas, recently won the Roundup title at the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo. Pope's success is significant as he is a Kansas-born-and-raised cowboy. He earned $6,605 during the rodeo, which is crucial for his standing in the world rankings. Only the top 15 contestants at the end of the regular season advance to the National Finals Rodeo, and Pope is currently ranked 20th. He has a history of success at the NFR, winning three consecutive titles and the 2022 world championship. Pope expressed his gratitude for the support of his family and friends and looks forward to adding the Roundup buckle to his collection of buckles and trophies. [Extracted from the article]
