Abstract
- A study conducted at Zhejiang Science Technical University in Hangzhou, China, has developed a three-layer artificial vascular graft using electrospinning technology. The graft consists of polylactic acid (PLA), collagen (COL), polycaprolactone (PCL), and gelatin. The researchers used the EDC/NHS cross-linking agent to enhance the mechanical and hydrophilic properties of the graft. The results showed that the cross-linked graft had good mechanical properties, hydrophilicity, and anticoagulation, and it promoted cell adhesion and proliferation. The study suggests that this artificial vascular graft has potential applications in tissue engineering and transplant medicine. [Extracted from the article]
