Abstract

A recent study conducted by ImpriMed Inc. in Mountain View, California, has investigated the use of flow cytometry and clonality analysis for predicting prognosis and characterizing feline lymphoma. The study analyzed fine needle aspirates and blood samples from 438 feline patients and found that the proposed methodology achieved high concordance with cytological evaluations. Additionally, the study demonstrated significant survival differences among lymphoma subtypes defined by flow cytometry and clonality analysis, highlighting the prognostic utility of these methods. This research provides valuable insights for the characterization and management of feline lymphoproliferative diseases. [Extracted from the article]
