Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive overview of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) from both a psycholinguistic and neuroscientific perspective. It explores the distinct communication patterns associated with different subtypes of NPD and identifies specific brain regions and functional abnormalities associated with the disorder. The integration of psycholinguistic and neuroscientific findings can improve diagnosis and treatment for individuals with NPD by addressing cognitive distortions and emotional dysregulation. The article acknowledges the need for further research to refine diagnostic criteria and deepen our understanding of the disorder. Additionally, a list of references is provided, offering a valuable resource for further research on NPD. [Extracted from the article]
