Abstract
- A clinical trial, NCT06509776, is being conducted to investigate the factors that contribute to good bone health, hormonal health, muscle mass, and fat mass in young adults. The trial will measure bone mass, body composition, hormones, and epigenetic modifications to genes at birth. The study aims to understand how prenatal and childhood health influence these factors. Another study explores the relationship between birth weight and the risk of developing osteoporosis in adulthood, finding that higher birth weight is associated with an increased risk. Additionally, a research study is being conducted to investigate the relationship between DNA methylation and adiposity in individuals born in Denmark in 2006 or 2007. These studies contribute to our understanding of the factors that influence bone health and long-term health outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
