Abstract

Researchers from Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Bathurst, Australia have developed an algorithm called the Enhanced Real-time Video (ERV) algorithm to improve the transmission of real-time video in surgical tele-education. The algorithm aims to reduce delays and improve video quality by optimizing bandwidth usage and choosing the most reliable communication route. Comparative analyses show that the ERV algorithm significantly improves the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) of videos and reduces processing time. The research concludes that the ERV method enhances transmission efficiency and improves the quality of real-time video in surgical tele-education. [Extracted from the article]
