Abstract
- This article discusses a case of cryopyrin-associated periodic syndrome (CAPS) and psoriasis in a 64-year-old man. CAPS is a rare autoinflammatory disease caused by genetic variants, and the article highlights the challenges in diagnosing it. The patient exhibited symptoms such as fever, arthritis, and skin rash, but not other typical CAPS symptoms. The article suggests a potential relationship between CAPS and psoriasis and calls for further research on this topic. Treatment with a Janus kinase inhibitor was effective against the skin rash but less effective against arthralgia. [Extracted from the article]
