Abstract

Sanofi India, the Indian arm of French multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi, has decided to sell its headquarters in Mumbai's Powai locality. The company has already leased an office in the Vikhroli suburb for one of its divisions and is in the process of leasing additional space for growth and relocation of other operations. In other news, Biocon Biologics, a subsidiary of Biocon Ltd, has received approval from the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to manufacture biosimilar Bevacizumab at its new facility in Bengaluru. The facility has also been approved to manufacture biosimilar Trastuzumab. EMA has also renewed the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificates of Compliance for Biocon Biologics' manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru and Malaysia. [Extracted from the article]
