Abstract

This article discusses the therapeutic management of COVID-19 in immunocompromised patients and its interaction with the immune response. Immunocompromised patients are at a higher risk of complications and poor outcomes from COVID-19. The use of monoclonal antibodies has shown benefits, but the high mutation rate of the virus has rendered many treatments ineffective. The article also explores strategies to enhance vaccine response in immunocompromised individuals and discusses the risks of viral evasion. Overall, the research topic provides insights into preventive and curative strategies for COVID-19 in immunocompromised patients. [Extracted from the article]
