Abstract: This paper presents the development of liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) technology aimed at enhancing the image quality and reliability of projectors. Additionally, we introduce an 8K LCOS panel with a pixel pitch of 2.6 μm. Furthermore, we discuss the application prospects of the developed phase‐only spatial light modulator.
