A study conducted by Islamic Azad University in Najafabad, Iran, examined the impact of compassion-focused training (CFT) on parental self-efficacy in mothers of children with externalizing behaviors. The study used a semi-experimental design with a sample of 30 mothers, who were randomly assigned to either an experimental group or a control group. The results showed that the CFT intervention significantly increased parental self-efficacy in the experimental group compared to the control group.
