Abstract
- A study conducted by Islamic Azad University in Najafabad, Iran, examined the impact of compassion-focused training (CFT) on parental self-efficacy in mothers of children with externalizing behaviors. The study used a semi-experimental design with a sample of 30 mothers, who were randomly assigned to either an experimental group or a control group. The results showed that the CFT intervention significantly increased parental self-efficacy in the experimental group compared to the control group. The study suggests that CFT may be an effective intervention for empowering mothers to manage the challenges associated with raising children with externalizing behaviors.
