Abstract

A recent study conducted at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, has developed a novel ultrasound contrast agent (UCA) called NPs-DPPA(C3F8) that can be used for both breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. The UCA is prepared using a combination of nanoprecipitation and ultrasound vibration methods and exhibits antiangiogenic and antitumor activities. It enables simultaneous real-time imaging, tumor assessment, and antitumor activity. The successful preparation of NPs-DPPA(C3F8) offers a new approach to integrating clinical diagnosis and treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). [Extracted from the article]
