Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Liege in Belgium examined the intraoral wear of Polymer-Infiltrated Ceramic Network (PICN) CAD-CAM composite restorations used in the treatment of severe tooth wear. The study followed 192 patients over a period of 5 years and utilized 3D profilometry analyses to assess wear. The results showed that the PICN material exhibited low wear, making it a suitable option for the treatment of severe tooth wear using the One-step No-prep technique. The study also found high survival and success rates for the restorations at the 5-year mark. [Extracted from the article]
