Abstract

Researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai have conducted a study on the use of 3D-printed polymer scaffolds in tissue engineering for repairing bone and nerve injuries. The study highlights the potential of these scaffolds in regulating the fates and behaviors of various cells involved in tissue repair and regeneration. The researchers discuss the challenges and future prospects of using 3D-printed polymer scaffolds with different structures to modulate cell fates. The structural properties of these scaffolds play a crucial role in promoting tissue repair and regeneration. The study was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
