Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom has developed a questionnaire called the Central Aspects of Pain (CAP) questionnaire to assess various aspects of pain in individuals with musculoskeletal conditions. The questionnaire was tested on participants with knee pain, osteoarthritis, back pain, and fibromyalgia. The study found that the CAP questionnaire reliably measures central aspects of pain and is associated with pain severity and quality. However, the study also noted that individual participants may experience temporal heterogeneity in their pain scores. Overall, the CAP questionnaire provides a valuable tool for assessing pain in musculoskeletal conditions. [Extracted from the article]
