Abstract

A recent study conducted by the National Research Institute for Science Policy (NRISP) analyzed the relationship between food security, patents, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in developing countries. The study found that there is an upward trend in the publication and citation of scientific outputs related to food security in these countries. China was found to have higher numbers of papers, patents, GDP, and food production index compared to Iran, Japan, and South Korea. The research concluded that there is a significant relationship between increasing scientific output, GDP, patents, and food security, emphasizing the importance of scientific outputs in driving technological advancements and ensuring food security in developing countries.
