The patient was a male in his 30s with the chief complaints of esthetic and masticatory disorder due to missing upper and lower front teeth and flap reconstruction of the lip soft tissue. Seven months had passed since upper lip revision surgery was performed by a plastic surgeon, but the lower lip still had volume from the flap reconstruction. Prosthodontic treatment was requested prior to further surgery. The prosthesis fabrication was planned according to the usual method, and the patient himself chose dentures. However, depending on the condition of the soft tissues after surgery, each step until the completion of the denture continued through trial and error, but after the completion of the denture, the patient himself got used to it faster than the prosthodontist had expected, and a certain degree of satisfaction was obtained with the insertion of the prosthetic device. In the future, we would like to study a treatment workflow with more predictability and efficiency by utilizing digital technologies such as intraoral scanners and simulation software for facial analysis and denture duplication.
