VTU is one of the few higher education institutions in our country, where studied classic and modern stained glass techniques and technologies. Veliko Tarnovo is a town of numerous monumental realizations of established authors and students from the Mural Painting department, FII of VTU. The student realizations are placed in various university buildings, realized in mosaic, stained glass and "A secco" techniques. The realization of the projects in a real environment is an important part in the educational process in the Mural Painting specialty. Stained glass art is part of the education in the specialty and presents the students in theory and practise in techniques Tiffany, fusing, slumping, painted glass ect. Some of the students choose to graduate with a project and realization of a stained glass work. This report will focus specifically on stained glass realisations in a real environment.
