An Editorial Advisory Panel is to be appointed to assist him in the selection of topics and of volume editor. Lloyd Fosdick, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Communications, has announced the appointment of Duncan H. Lawrie for the Computer Architecture and Systems department of the Association. Duncan Lawrie received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1973 and is now an Associate Professor of Computer Science there.
