Accurascale has taken over the production of the Class 66 locomotive range from Hattons, following the closure of the retailer. The tooling for the Class 66 was transferred to Accurascale in 2022 and modifications were made to improve the quality and electronics of the model. The new Accurascale version of the Class 66 includes enhancements such as improved axlebox covers, cab interiors, and access to fit a DCC decoder.
