Abstract
- New research from Zhejiang, People's Republic of China, explores the use of ALCOCK tube ultrasound-guided internal pudendal nerve block for analgesia in anal surgery. The study involved 134 patients who underwent anal surgery and compared the experimental group, which received the nerve block, to the control group. The researchers found that the experimental group had longer operation times, more bleeding in anal fistula cases, higher initial pain levels in anal fistula cases, and lower pain scores in anal fistula cases. Overall, the study concluded that the ALCOCK tube ultrasound-guided nerve block had a positive analgesic effect and high patient satisfaction. [Extracted from the article]
