Abstract
- This document provides information about a clinical trial, NCT06492902, that is currently recruiting participants in Vietnam. The trial aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a Chinese herbal medicine called Xiao-Feng-San decoction for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. The trial is a multi-center, double-blinded, randomized, sham-controlled study that will assess the severity of symptoms, quality of life, medication needs, immunoglobulin E levels, and adverse effects. The findings of this study aim to provide valuable insights into optimizing treatment strategies for atopic dermatitis using integrative approaches. The primary investigator of the trial is Nga Th Tran, MD, MSc, from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, and the trial is expected to be completed by March 15, 2025.
