Abstract
- Researchers at University Hospital Bordeaux in France have conducted a study on lung cancer and occupational health surveillance for workers exposed to lung carcinogens. The study aimed to define the occupational health surveillance for workers exposed to pulmonary occupational carcinogens and issued 26 recommendations. The recommendations included the implementation of a feasibility study in two French departments, which would involve annual CT scans for two years in subjects aged 55 to 74 years who were occupationally exposed or previously exposed to lung carcinogens. The study was conducted in collaboration with various medical societies and organizations. [Extracted from the article]
