Abstract

Addressing climate change requires not only innovative approaches, but also collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts to foster sustainable living and resilient communities. EIT Climate-KIC emphasizes systemic transformations through collaborative endeavors. The ILCA consortium, part of EIT Climate-KIC, employs co-creation and interdisciplinary actions to foster social cohesion. Recognizing the need for future-oriented impact assessment approaches, ILCA aims to introduce the Prospective Rapid Impact Assessment (PRIA) method to engage diverse stakeholders in the cities effectively. ILCA, comprising five higher education institutions and three research organizations across 5 countries, focuses on green transitions, security, responsible tourism, and low-carbon lifestyles. Through PRIA, stakeholders identify priority actions and foster collaboration for effective climate action planning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
