Research on Operating Speed Limitation for Remote Control of Bridge and Gantry Cranes.

The replacement of control system with remote control for bridge and gantry cranes has become a common phenomenon, and in the process of changing the cab control to remote control, there are many potential risks, such as operation errors and remote-control faults. Based on the relevant standards and the speed comparison research of typical cranes, combined with the sampling survey results of the operator's walking characteristics and speed perception, suggestions for limiting the operating speed of bridge and gantry cranes in a remote-control mode are given.
