Abstract
- This article, published in the Journal of Integrative Plant Biology, explores the role of the E3 ubiquitin ligase MdSINA11 in the ubiquitination and degradation of the jasmonate ZIM domain protein MdJAZ2 in apple plants. The study reveals that MdSINA11 targets MdJAZ2 for degradation through the 26S proteasome pathway, initiating jasmonate signaling and anthocyanin biosynthesis. The findings provide insights into the post-translational regulatory mechanism of the jasmonate signaling pathway and its role in plant growth and development. The research was supported by various grants and the authors declare no conflicts of interest. [Extracted from the article]
