Abstract
- A clinical trial, NCT06482866, has been launched to analyze the factors that contribute to the development of intranasal adhesions (synechiae) in patients after endonasal surgery. The trial aims to focus on the use of nasal septal separators and suggest solutions to reduce this complication in the future. The trial is observational and retrospective, involving patients who underwent septo or septoconchoplasty procedures. The study has been completed, with 243 participants enrolled. The primary outcome measure is the presence of intranasal synechiae after rhino nasal procedures. The trial was conducted at the Multidisciplinary Regional Hospital in Gorzow, Poland.
