Abstract

A research study conducted at Beijing Technology and Business University in China explores the design of a fresh food supply chain network (FSCN) in an omnichannel retailing environment. The study develops a customized bi-level programming model to reflect the relationship between the omnichannel retailing company and customers with varying consumption requirements. The research finds that implementing this model improves the operational efficiency of the FSCN and enhances customer satisfaction. Financial support for the study was provided by the Key program of The National Social Science Fund of China. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in the International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications. [Extracted from the article]
