Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at the European University of Lefke explores the importance of green finance and digital technology in sustainable agricultural development in sub-Saharan Africa. The study finds that green finance, internet and mobile phone use, and sustainable energy utilization have a positive impact on agriculture, forestry, and fishing value added. The researchers suggest that implementing macro-policies to increase agricultural green credit and providing technical support in digital agricultural research and value chains could contribute to sustainable agriculture development in sub-Saharan Africa. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers and organizations like the Food and Agricultural Organization and the African Union. [Extracted from the article]
