Abstract

A new report from Chongqing University in the People's Republic of China discusses the development of a disposable biosensor for the simultaneous detection of multiple breast cancer-associated microRNAs (miRNAs). The biosensor utilizes carbon fiber paper as the biosensing interface and DNA probes linked via click chemistry to efficiently capture targets and signals. The biosensor demonstrated satisfactory performance in tests conducted with normal human serum and cell lysate, and it has the potential to be an inexpensive and sensitive tool for detecting multiple biomarkers. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into the field of biosensors and biotechnology. [Extracted from the article]
