Reymont, czyli życie. Głosy i glosy.

The article offers an overview of the content of the present issue of „Tekstualia“ and problematizes the issue of Reymont's status and meaning of his role as a writer in Polish and world literature since his Nobel Prize in Literature in 1924. The article also tries to offer an overview of the scientific papers included in „Tekstualia" issue, but also (as an introduction) offers a kind of reconnaissance which focuses on different points of view and glosses about Reymont's papers and works (especially novels, short stories, novellas, diaries, memoirs and adaptations of his great novel -- The Peasants).
