Abstract
- This article delves into the author's personal experiences and reflections on the impact of white supremacy in education. It discusses the emotional toll of navigating white supremacy and highlights the power dynamics and control exerted by whiteness in institutional spaces. The article explores different forms of white supremacy, such as conspicuous and prosaic, and how they perpetuate global wealth disparities. The author emphasizes the need to challenge and dismantle white supremacy in education, proposing solidarity contracts and a shift in strategy to focus on the actions of whiteness rather than the experiences of non-white individuals. The text also examines the concept of whiteness and its implications, questioning whether it is possible to critique whiteness without attacking white individuals. [Extracted from the article]
